Brandon Rios vs Urbano Antillon: Conference Call Live Updates

The upcoming lightweight title fight between Brandon Rios and Urbano Antillon is high on the list of most anticipated fights of the year for diehard boxing fans, and today they'll speak with the media during a conference call that will also include Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, Rios' trainer Robert Garcia and manager Cameron Dunkin, and Antillon's trainer Abel Sanchez and manager German Antillon.

Bad Left Hook will have live quotes and updates during the call. The fight will be shown live from the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., on Showtime on Saturday, July 9.

Rios (27-0-1, 20 KO) made his name last year with a stirring win over Anthony Peterson on HBO, and in February of this year topped Miguel Acosta to pick up the WBA lightweight belt. He makes his first defense in this fight, against a man who like Rios doesn't take a backward step and lives and dies on pressure fighting. Antillon (28-2, 20 KO) was one-half of the 2010 Bad Left Hook Fight of the Year in December against Humberto Soto.

Join us at 2 p.m. EDT for discussion and updates during the call.
