Just the little 30-second teaser for the July 23 Integrated Sports PPV for the fight between Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury for the British heavyweight title:
If anyone's wondering, Sky Sports will be showing Gavin Rees vs Derry Mathews on July 23 and not this fight. Instead, Channel 5 will be showing Chisora vs Fury. I'm not familiar enough with UK TV to know if that can be seen as a good thing -- it's a free-to-air channel, but still -- but it is pretty impressive that they're at least taking the chance on a U.S. pay-per-view, even if it's unlikely to sell over 20,000 or so. It's more than 0.
There is a British junior welterweight title fight already set for the undercard between champ Ashley Theophane (29-4-1, 7 KO) and challenger Jason Cook (28-3-1, 14 KO). Cook drew former champ Lenny Daws back in February 2010, while Theophane lifted the belt from Daws in February 2011. You might also recall Theophane from Friday Night Fights bouts against Danny Garcia and Delvin Rodriguez, one where he lost when many felt he should have won (Garcia), and the other where he won when many felt he should have lost (Rodriguez).
Is anyone going to order this show? I haven't decided myself yet, so I'm curious if there are any U.S. fans that are really looking forward to this enough to buy the PPV.
