Tonight at 8:45 p.m. EDT, Showtime's boxing coverage begins with a special 15-minute Fight Camp 360 presentation from the May 7 fight between Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley, and then at 9 p.m. EDT, some actual fights happen.
The Showtime broadcast will start with a tape delay airing of Mikkel Kessler's comeback earlier today against Mehdi Bouadla, and after that, everything's live from Atlantic City for the Carl Froch vs Glen Johnson fight. Froch and Johnson are meeting for Froch's WBC super middleweight title, as well as a spot in the Super Six World Boxing Classic tournament final later this year. Tonight's winner will face unbeaten American Andre Ward, who has thus far been the shining star of the tournament.
We'll be here with live, round-by-round coverage, scoring and analysis of the fight, with post-fight analysis coming shortly after. We'll also have a separate post for the HBO fight tonight, with Sebastian Zbik meeting Julio Cesar Chavez Jr for a middleweight trinket. That show starts at 10 p.m. with a Mikey Garcia co-feature bout, but we'll be able to cover both main events tonight.
