Carl Froch tells Livefight.com that he's ready for Andre Ward in the Super Six World Boxing Classic Final on October 29, but feels that Ward might not be ready for what he'll bring to the ring in Atlantic City.
"We have got the WBA and WBC titles, the Ring magazine title and the number one spot in the division all up for grabs. They've said the winner is a lock for the pound for pound lists and rightly so. This is the hottest division in boxing and if I come through Ward then me and Great Britain will be right up there on that pound for pound list. You couldn't pick a better fight to watch myself in action abroad.
"And trust me, you'll not see a better version of 'The Cobra' on the 29th October. Ward thinks he knows what is coming, but he's not gonna see this one." concluded Froch "He can switch hit or whatever he feels like but we've got a different approach."
Froch is also pleased that the fight has come off so easily with ticket availability for his fans to travel abroad, and the date and venue set up, in contrast to the troubles he had with past fights in the tournament against Mikkel Kessler and Arthur Abraham.
Right now, Bodog has Froch listed as a +205 underdog, with Ward the favorite at -265.
