Our friends at FightHub TV got some words with Manny Pacquiao, who says it's up to Floyd Mayweather Jr whether or not they will fight in the future:
Pacquiao: "For me, there's a chance, because, you know -- it's up to him if he wants to fight. But for me, I'm ready any time."
Pacquiao also seems to believe that Mayweather may be waiting for him to show decline, and says he's trying to stay young in his mind, but he admits he's getting older physically, and that he can feel that in the way his body is responding.
We had some discussion after the Pacquiao vs Mosley fight in May about whether or not Manny's leg cramping up on him in the fight could be a sign that, like anyone, he's starting to come down the other side of the hill at age 32. Some felt it was just a leg cramp, but I personally believe he's definitely in his decline. Whether it's a fast or slow decline is another matter, and I doubt Manny's close to being done as one of the top fighters in the world, so I'm guessing it's slower than it is fast.
