TMZ reports this afternoon that the Los Angeles home of Manny Pacquiao was burglarized, and that police on the scene have arrested four individuals.

Pacquiao, who fights next on November 12 against Juan Manuel Marquez, is of course currently in the Philippines preparing for his bout, and authorities are attempting to contact him.

I'm guessing that if arrests have already been made, there probably isn't a ton of damage done, but who knows? Pacquiao doesn't live in the home year-round, obviously, and stays there when he's training at Freddie Roach's Wild Card Gym.

Since there's not a lot more to say about this at the time, and probably won't be a lot more to say about it overall, let's talk promotions. After today's Mayweather vs Ortiz weigh-in fiasco, I even deeper appreciate the good humor and good nature of the Pacquiao vs Marquez promotion that we've seen thus far. Give me Manny interviewing his opponent and the two of them in singing contests any day over lousy comedians, fake tough guy acts, and idiotic pull-aparts.
