Pick'em Game: Season 8 - Week 5 Standings

Weekly honors went to cylee1180 with an impressive 57 points, thanks a perfect 5 for 5 ledger, that included a couple of doubles and a triple.  Taking second spot was Colon3I (7 for 8, 2 doubles) with 55, followed by Skeletor1982 (6 for 7, 1 double) in third with at 47.  It should be mentioned that this week's second and third place finishers, going with the "late replacement" option, were the only players to correctly call Robert Lloyd-Taylor's astounding Prizefighter win.

In fourth place was Sweet science (5 for 6, 1 double & 1 triple) with 38.5, while DrHenrik (6 for 8, 1 double) took fifth at 37.5 and Nonpariel Barry Punchbag (5 for 8) was sixth with 26.  Rounding out the top ten were bazzlad (4 for 8, 1 double & 1 triple) 25.5, Stevosaurus Rex (4 for 7, 1 triple) 22.5, BoxAnne (4 for 7, 1 double & 1 triple) 19 and cyke (2 for 5, 1 double) at 13.5.

There was a mistake in over/under totals for the Alvarez/Gomez fights, where the odds for 6 1/2 under should have been reversed with the 8 1/2 under, and same for the overs.  So all players that picked the under will get the full 5 points, while all players that took the over with only lose 3.5.  Those numbers will of course change with doubles/triples.

Holding steady in the overall lead is bazzlad, now with 151 points.  We have a big mover taking over second, as Colon3I makes the jumps up from tenth place with 129.  DrHenrik makes a move as well, climbing from eighth into third at 121.  OliGold holds down fourth at 109.5, while Skeletor1982 catapults all the way from twentieth into fifth at 103.

Rounding out the overall top ten are Nonpariel Barry Punchbag at 99, Sweet science 94.5, nickfoxx 93, sigidy 91 and danytupac94 at 89.5.
