HBO will present a replay of the September 17 pay-per-view main event between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Victor Ortiz, which is boxing's most talked-about fight in years (well, at least the most talked-about fight that has actually happened).
If you missed any of our extensive coverage, you can go to the event page and get all caught up on the headbutt, the knockout, the legality of it all, the Mayweather vs Merchant beef, Victor Ortiz's gradually changing explanation of his flagrant foul, the opinions of those in and around boxing that basically it was cheap but legal, and so on and so forth.
HBO is also advertising "bonus 24/7 coverage," so that might be worth tuning in to see, too.
I am interested to see how this does in terms of viewers. The fight has had huge buzz, but it's also been a week and I've got to guess most who wanted to see it have seen it since this is 2011 and not 1992. There's also no live fight to bring in viewers tonight, so it's all on what's left of the hype around Mayweather vs Ortiz.
