Today's British heavyweight title eliminator between David Price and John McDermott promises some good action and some heavy blows landed, and while the younger Price is the heavy favorite, he's not intending to look past "Big Bad" John. From The Daily Star:

"McDermott has had three times as many pro fights as me and is very experienced. This fight won’t be as easy as some people think. But I am determined to succeed, in what promises to be a very big year for me."

Price (11-0, 9 KO) is a thunderous puncher and a huge man at 6'8". He'll enjoy a significant height and reach advantage over his opponent, and McDermott, who has lost four of five but been very competitive in each setback, says he doesn't plan to continue his career if he's downed again:

"This is my last chance. If I lose, there is no point in carrying on. I am way too good to become a journeyman. I am above that."

Bad Left Hook will have live, round-by-round coverage and results, plus immediate post-fight analysis, this afternoon. The fight starts at 3 p.m. EST on Sky Sports.
