NBC Sports Fight Night: Video Highlights of Debut Episode

Scott Christ is the managing editor of Bad Left Hook and has been covering boxing for SB Nation since 2006.

If you missed last Friday night's premiere episode of NBC Sports Fight Night, here are some video highlight clips.

In the main event, heavyweight prospects Bryant Jennings and Maurice Byarm put on a pretty solid fight, about as good as could have been expected for a couple of unknowns who came in on short notice when the original main event (Eddie Chambers vs Sergei Liakhovich) was scrapped. Jennings won a 10-round decision to improve to 12-0 (5 KO).

Clips from the undercard after the jump.

In the main co-feature slot, junior middleweight Gabriel Rosado (19-5, 11 KO) dominated a slow but game and always-tough Jesus Soto Karass to keep his rise up the ranks alive.

Also here are highlights of Cuban light heavyweight Sullivan Barrera improving his professional record to 9-0 (6 KO) with a lazy win over Toledo's Damar Singleton (8-1, 4 KO). This bout did nothing for anyone but did happen, so here are what passes for highlights.
