The November 17 fight between top flyweights Brian Viloria and Tyson Marquez is finally, truly official, with the fight booked for the Los Angeles Sports Arena, and set to air on TV Azteca in Mexico and WealthTV in the United States.
Viloria (31-3, 18 KO) and Marquez (34-2, 25 KO) both hold world titles, with Viloria carrying the WBO belt and Marquez the WBA super belt. It's the best fight that can be made in the flyweight division right now, as the two have set themselves apart over the last little bit.
Viloria most recently fought on May 13, stopping old rival Omar Nino Romero in nine rounds, while Marquez was last seen on July 14, struggling a bit to a win over Fernando Lumacad in what was a catchweight bout just below the bantamweight limit.
Not only is this an important fight for the division, but it should be a really good action fight, as well.
