European super middleweight champion James DeGale is back in the ring today, making his Channel 5 and Hennessy Sports debut against France's Hadillah Mohoumadi.
The fight will go live on Channel 5 at 5 pm ET (10 pm local time), and will be part of WealthTV's afternoon broadcast, which starts at 2:30 pm ET with the Price-Harrison card.
DeGale (12-1, 9 KO) is a huge favorite to the point that it doesn't even really matter to consider the competitive aspects of this fight, as this all came together on short notice, really. Mohoumadi (13-2-1, 9 KO) isn't lightly regarded, he's just sort of not regarded at all. He lost his last fight on points to Nikola Sjekloca in Montenegro on July 24.
Also on the card today is middleweight prospect Chris Eubank Jr (6-0, 3 KO), facing Ruslans Pojonisevs (13-22-1, 10 KO). DeGale has trashed Eubank Jr a bit in the press lately, so don't be surprised if that comes up during the fights.
