The November 17 fight between top flyweights Tyson Marquez (34-2, 25 KO) and Brian Viloria (31-3, 18K KO) has again been moved, but this time only to a new venue. The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, home to USC football and the 1932 and 1984 Olympic games, will now host the fight.
The bout has moved dates several times, and has changed locations three times now, from the Home Depot Center in Carson, California, to the Commerce Casino in Commerce, just outside of LA, and now to the Memorial Coliseum.
There's still no word on TV about the fight, but it'll wind up somewhere, I'm sure. November 17 is now going to be focused on the Broner-DeMarco fight on HBO for most, but this is a legitimately great bit of matchmaking and deserves all the exposure and attention it can get, even overshadowed by a more mainstream notable fight, and a hell of a machup in its own right (Broner-DeMarco).
