Zaurbek Baysangurov vs Lukas Konecny: Live stream, results, and round-by-round coverage

SES Boxing

Today at 2 pm EDT on BoxNation in the UK, Zaurbek Baysangurov will defend his WBO junior middleweight title against Lukas Konecny at Sport Palace in Kiev, Ukraine, in a fight that has flown under the radar a bit, but pits two solid contenders in the division in what could be a really action-packed main event.

Bad Left Hook will have live round-by-round coverage and results from the show. BoxNation subscribers can also stream the show at Livesport.TV.

Baysangurov (27-1, 20 KO) has won eight straight since a 2008 loss to Cornelius "K9" Bundrage, including a hard-fought, entertaining win over tough young Michael Soro of France in his last fight on May 12. Konecny (48-3, 23 KO) is a hard-nosed Czech battler who also hasn't lost since 2008, rattling off 12 consecutive victories. His last loss came against Sergiy Dzinziruk in what was arguably the best European fight of the 2000s.

The undercard is nothing special at all, but veteran junior middleweight Serhiy Fedchenko (30-2, 13 KO) will be in action, facing Georgia's Nugzar Margvelashvili (25-18, 11 KO) in a fight meant as a get-well win for Fedchenko following a one-sided decision loss to Juan Manuel Marquez. The remainder of the bill is filled out with prospects and mismatches.

We'll be here to cover the main event, which will take center stage over the Sky Sports Prizefighter show. Join us this afternoon for what should be a good fight!
