Bob Arum talks Chavez Jr.'s failed drug test for marijuana: 'Let's be f**kin' real'

Bob Arum defends Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in the wake of failing a drug test for marijuana saying that the drug doesn't enhance performance and anyone bashing him is likely being a hypocrite.

Bob Arum was recently asked about Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.'s failed drug test following his fight with Sergio Martinez. Chavez had tested positive for marijuana and we've heard excuses ranging from that he smoked a joint a month out from the fight to that he had a special tea that he was given to help him sleep.

FightHub was there to capture Bob's response to the question and it's about as Arum as Arum gets:

"I was...sorry that it happened, that he tested positive. But I'm not gonna condemn a kid for smoking a joint a month before a fight to go to sleep. What the fuck has happened?! I mean, let's be real about it, let's not be hypocrites about it. Cheating...performance enhancing drugs..that's cheating. That's wrong. Smoking a joint a month before a fight...take a poll here. What kind of percentage do you think of people who've smoked a joint in the last month? So let's be fuckin' real!"
