Tonight at 7 pm ET (listed on the WealthTV site anyway), Lucian Bute returns to the ring in the main event in Montreal, facing Denis Grachev in a 170-pound catchweight bout, hoping to rebound from the first loss of his career, suffered earlier this year against Carl Froch.
Bute (30-1, 24 KO) is the heavy favorite tonight against Grachev (12-0-1, 8 KO), a strong but limited fighter, and a former standout kickboxer. Grachev upset Ismayl Sillakh earlier this year, bursting the prospect's bubble, but he was outboxed for much of the fight and more caught Sillakh than gave him the business or anything.
If Bute wins, he's expected to face Froch in a rematch next spring in Montreal, which has been agreed to by both parties, and is contractually obligated.
The fight is live on WealthTV in the States, as well as streaming live on WealthTV.com.
