Mares vs Moreno weigh-in results: Fighters on weight for Showtime card

Abner Mares and Anselmo Moreno both made weight for their super bantamweight title showdown tomorrow night on Showtime.

Abner Mares and Anselmo Moreno made weight for tomorrow night's Showtime card at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, as did the main undercard fighters.

Mares (24-0-1, 13 KO) will be defending his WBC super bantamweight title against Moreno (33-1-1, 12 KO) in tomorrow night's highly intriguing main event. Mares weighed in at 121.8 pounds, with Moreno a pound lighter at 120.8.

Also featured on the main Showtime card will be returning junior middleweight Alfredo Angulo, who weighed in at 154 pounds on the dot for his fight with Raul Casarez, who came in at 153.8.

Leo Santa Cruz will defend his IBF super bantamweight belt against Victor Zaleta in the night's second Showtime televised bout. Santa Cruz weighed in at 117.6, with Zaleta at 117 even.

Also featured on the undercard and airing on Showtime Extreme, Nathan Cleverly will defend the WBO light heavyweight title against Shawn Hawk, and junior welterweight prospect Antonio Orozco will face Danny Escobar.

The Showtime Extreme portion of the broadcast starts at 8 pm EST, with the tripleheader main card on Showtime beginning at 10 pm EST. BLH will have live coverage and results for all of the fights.
