Chris Eubank Jr remained undefeated today in Belfast, passing a solid test against former Commonwealth junior middleweight champion Bradley Pryce, winning on a referee's score of 80-73. BLH had it 79-73 for Eubank Jr.
Eubank Jr (8-0, 3 KO) is a fine young prospect, though a notch or so below that blue chip level, despite his blood. He has a lot of what one needs: He's quick, he's smooth, and he's got a natural feel for the sport, but his lack of power is a serious concern and could haunt him down the line.
Still, beating Pryce (33-12, 18 KO) in your eighth pro fight is nothing to sneeze at, either, and it was a good test and a good win today for the 23-year-old Eubank Jr, who moves forward and could sooner than later be in the domestic title hunt at 160 pounds.
