Amir Khan (26-3, 18 KO) will look to stop a two-fight losing streak on Saturday, when he faces unbeaten Carlos Molina (17-0-1, 7 KO) in the Showtime Championship Boxing main event at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena, part of the Golden Boy/CBS/Showtime effort that will bring live boxing to three channels.
Khan, 26, is working with new trainer Virgil Hunter, as seen in the video above, and the assumed plan is for the British star to tighten up his defense and protect a questionable chin a bit better than he has in the past by staying out of exchanges. Molina will attempt to bring out the "old" Amir Khan, who was prone to getting into battles.
Can Khan change permanently and prolong his time at the top of the sport? Maybe! This shadowboxing certainly isn't an indication, but here it is anyway.
