Khan vs Molina weigh-in results: Main eventers at 139¾, everyone else on weight

Amir Khan, Carlos Molina, and all of the undercard fighters are good to go for tomorrow night's big Showtime, CBS, and Showtime Extreme card from the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena.

SHOWTIME/UStream

Amir Khan and Carlos Molina made weight for tomorrow night's junior welterweight main event on Showtime, each coming in a quarter pound under the limit at 139¾.

Khan (26-3, 18 KO) is trying to get off the schneid with this bout, having dropped two straight to Lamont Peterson and Danny Garcia. Molina (17-0-1, 7 KO) is a lightweight prospect giving up a lot of height, and has been hand-picked for a Khan rebound. But Molina looked in good shape, and all reports out of his camp are that he's looking better than ever, and is coming to win. He doesn't seem himself as just an opponent for a name fighter to beat.

"This is what I've been waiting for my whole life. Tomorrow, I'm going to explode in the ring," Molina said after weighing in.

Two more fights will air on Showtime main card (starting at 10:30 pm EST) prior to the Khan-Molina fight. First up, Deontay Wilder (25-0, 25 KO) will look to stay unbeaten and keep his knockout streak going when he faces Kelvin Price (13-0, 6 KO) in a heavyweight bout scheduled for 10 rounds. Wilder weighed in at 223½, with Price coming in at 240.

Alfredo Angulo (21-2, 18 KO) is also back in action tomorrow night, facing Jorge Silva (19-2-2, 15 KO). Silva, coming up from welterweight, weighed in at 156, with Angulo at 154½.

On Showtime Extreme (9:00 pm EST), we'll have a pair of welterweight bouts. In a 10-rounder, Shawn Porter (20-0, 14 KO) will face former lightweight titlist Julio Diaz (40-7, 29 KO). Porter came in at 146, with Diaz at 146.8. Prospect Frankie Gomez (13-0, 10 KO) weighed in at 143.6 (I think) for his eight-round fight against Pavel Miranda (17-8-1, 8 KO), who came in at 142.8.

But it will all start with boxing's return to network television, with afternoon fights on CBS (4:30 pm EST). In the CBS main event, IBF bantamweight titlist Leo Santa Cruz (22-0-1, 13 KO) will face Alberto Guevara (16-0, 6 KO). Santa Cruz tipped the scales at 117¾, with Guevara weighing in at 117.

In the CBS co-feature, 2012 U.S. Olympian Joseph Diaz Jr makes his pro debut against Vicente Alfaro (5-2, 1 KO). Diaz weighed in at 122, with Alfaro at 122½.
