Hank Lundy has lost his January 26 Showtime main event against Lucas Matthysse due to promotional issues, and Dan Rafael says that Mike Dallas Jr will step in as his replacement at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas. Dallas' promoter Dan Goossen says that a deal has been reached for the fight.

In all honesty, neither fight is exactly a thrilling matchup, and serves more as a stay-busy fight for Matthysse (32-2, 30 KO), at least on paper. The working idea that most are hoping for is that Matthysse will win on January 26, Danny Garcia will win on February 9 against Zab Judah, and those two will meet in the late spring or early summer.

Dallas (19-2-1, 8 KO) is a 5'9", 26-year-old right-hander out of Bakersfield, California, and has been featured on TV a fair amount in his career, including back-to-back losses to Josesito Lopez and Mauricio Herrera in 2011, the latter of which was a questionable majority decision over 10 rounds.

Matthysse, 30, went 3-0 in 2012, including a pair of wins on Showtime over Humberto Soto and Olusegun Ajose.
