Pacquiao vs Marquez IV: Marquez expects 'another war,' not looking to be friends with Manny

Juan Manuel Marquez says he expects to have another crowd-pleasing fight against Manny Pacquiao on Saturday, when the two meet for a fourth time on HBO pay-per-view from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

"I want to be in another great fight. The most important thing in this is that for this fight, Manny Pacquiao knows me, and I know him. This fight will be another war. Everybody is going to watch another war because he knows me and I know him."

Marquez (54-6-1, 39 KO) also said on Wednesday that he's not really worried about whether or not he and Pacquiao ever become friends, as great boxing rivals often have over the years:

"I think that we respect each other as professionals, and I think that we're professional boxers and we both do our jobs, but after what's gone on in the first three fights, I doubt that we could ever have a real, personal relationship. I don't believe that we can be that kind of friends. Inside of the ring, there's a respect that will always be there. But outside of it, who knows?"

While these two aren't exactly Morales and Barrera in terms of white-hot hatred, and they have even sang together on Mexican TV, there is some bad blood, at least from Marquez's side. And Pacquiao has taken some sly shots at Marquez's complaints that he's deserved to win all three fights, too.

Maybe they could become friendly. But as soon as someone asks them to recall their fights, that's just begging for the argument.

For now, we're three days away from fight night one more -- and probably final -- time for Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez.
