Today at 5 p.m. EDT on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom, Kell Brook and Matthew Hatton meet in a 12-round welterweight main event dubbed "War of the Roses," which has picked up pretty solid press coverage in the UK, and is expected to draw about 10,000 fans to Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena.
Bad Left Hook will be here with live, round-by-round coverage of the entire televised triple-header.
Brook vs Hatton Preview | Undercard Preview | Odds
Brook (26-0, 18 KO) is heavily favored in the main event against Hatton (42-5-2, 16 KO), but probably not so much as European middleweight champion Grzegorz Proksa is favored over Kerry Hope, and not close to the oddsmakers' lines seen for the Commonwealth super bantamweight title fight between Carl Frampton and Prosper Ankrah.
Consider this card the appetizer for tonight's big clash in New York between world middleweight champion Sergio Martinez and another British fighter, Matthew Macklin, which will also air on Sky Sports in the UK, as well as HBO in the States. Bad Left Hook will also have live coverage of that card, starting at 10 p.m. EDT.
