World champions Yesica Yolanda Bopp and Erica Anabella Farias made the trip to Tokyo to participate in a special exhibition during last Thursday’s OPBF super middleweight title fight. Despite the friendly atmosphere, the Argentinean duo clearly showed they are levels above their Japanese counterparts.

Controlling distance with her opponent, the 27-year old Buenos Aires native displayed good boxing instincts overall.

Though Farias could improve her left hook by making it more compact, her advantage in power kept opponent Fujin Raika (22-7, 9KO) at bay.

A former WIBA champ, Raika, is a respected veteran with a career spanning 12-years.

Currently holding the OPBF version of the lightweight crown, Raika refused to back off the younger, stronger Farias, scoring here with a nice right hand.

In addition to her seemingly vibrant personality, Bopp appears to be the real deal in the ring.

Hand speed, punch selection, timing, and quickness – the 27-year old champ presents a solid package of skills.

Bopp’s lead blow is quick and has snap.

Although she did not try to show off any power, Bopp also throws a decent right hand.

Bopp switches up against atomweight beltholder Momo Koseki.

The Argentinean maintains an unblemished record at 19-0 with 9 stoppages, winning her first world title in her seventh appearance.

Bopp went two rounds each with Naomi Togashi and Koseki. Both Japanese own WBC crowns, but were clearly outclassed by the Argentinean.
