After getting his license revoked indefinitely by the British Board of Control, it was a natural next move for Dereck Chisora and promoter Frank Warren to appeal the decision. Two weeks after the initial decision, these two have in fact appealed the decision according to a report from the Associated Press. Frank Warren had some interesting thoughts on the matter.

"The grounds for the appeal are that we're not satisfied with the way the hearing went," Frank Warren, Chisora's promoter, told Britain's Press Association. "Dereck Chisora will present his side of events and then we'll see what happens. A lot of stuff came out at the first hearing," Warren said. "For example we thought (BBBC chairman) Charlie Giles was in charge but it turns out there was no steward from the BBBofC representing the British boxer's interests. Instead he was working for the WBC."

Frank Warren is trying to get Chisora's license reinstated so that he can get an eventual matchup between David Haye and Dereck Chisora. David Haye also has to go through some legal hoops in order for the fight to happen as well. As some of you might remember, David Haye let his British License lapse and would need to reapply for it if he wanted to fight in England.

Honestly, I'm not sure I can ever get excited about another David Haye fight after the ridiculous fiasco that happened during his fight with the Wladimir Klitschko. I would happily watch any fight involving any two of the following three heavyweights: Dereck Chisora, Tomasz Adamek, and Chris Arreola. Maybe if Tyson Fury had a little bit more seasoning I would throw him into that mix as well. Point being that there are a decent amount of fights that can be made in the heavyweight division without the Klitschkos and without David Haye. What would be your current dream heavyweight matchup that does not include a Klitschko?
