Tyson Fury faces Martin Rogan today in Belfast in a big regional dust-up that could have some fireworks. At yesterday's weigh-in, the 40-year-old Rogan objected heavily to being suddenly told the fight was going to be 12 rounds. Originally scheduled for the Irish title, which is fought over 10 rounds, the belt may not be on the line anymore, but the fight is going ahead, which doesn't really make much sense, but, well, welcome to boxing.
Bad Left Hook has live coverage this afternoon of the card, so join us then. Here's how you can watch:
Fight time: 5:00 p.m. EDT
Location: Odyssey Arena - Belfast, Northern Ireland
TV channel: Channel 5 (UK)
Odds: Fury is favored heavily at -1000 and -1100, with Rogan at +600 and +700. Bookies clearly aren't buying this idea that the 40-year-old Rogan, who hasn't fought in over a year, is a big threat to Fury.
Undercard: No big fights, but Chris Eubank Jr (2-0, 1 KO) is in action and welterweight John O'Donnell (24-2, 11 KO) returns after over a year out of the ring, too.
