Miguel Cotto is putting the finishing touches on his training camp as he gears up for what may be the biggest challenge of his pro boxing career on May 5, when he faces Floyd Mayweather Jr in Las Vegas, live on HBO pay-per-view.

Cotto (37-2, 30 KO) and trainer Pedro Diaz are expressing confidence in their ability to pull off what would be one of the most shocking upset wins in recent memory, as they look to take the "0" from the still-unbeaten Mayweather. There's no doubt that Cotto was supremely prepared for Antonio Margarito last December, but to say that Margarito ain't Mayweather is like saying an old Dodge Ram isn't a Rolls Royce.

It's going to take something new and something special from Cotto and his team if they're going to actually come out of this fight with their hands raised. That or a freak injury. It could happen.
