Today at 2:30 p.m. EDT on BoxNation in the UK, James DeGale features on a big card from Denmark, facing Cristian Sanavia of Italy for DeGale's European super middleweight title. Bad Left Hook will have live round-by-round coverage of the show.
DeGale (11-1, 8 KO) is a big favorite over the 37-year-old Sanavia (45-5-1, 13 KO), who would be scoring a career-best win were he to pull the upset this afternoon. It's DeGale's first fight since October of last year, when he slipped past Piotr Wilczewski via majority decision to win the European title.
Also in action on the show is Danish middleweight prospect Patrick Nielsen (13-0, 7 KO), who will be facing Argentina's Gaston Alejandro Vega (17-4, 6 KO) in what is unlikely to be anything more than a showcase fight for the 21-year-old local draw. Plus, featherweights Andreas Evensen of Norway (15-2-1, 6 KO) and Willie Casey (13-1, 9 KO) are in action in another 12-round bout.
Join us this afternoon as we get a big Saturday started!
