Tonight at 11 p.m. EDT on Showtime, a tripleheader comes your way on ShoBox: The New Generation, headlined by one of the more intriguing prospects/emerging contenders in the game today in a 10-round super middleweight main event.

South Africa's Thomas Oosthuizen (18-0-1, 13 KO) will face Marcus "Too Much" Johnson (21-1, 15 KO) in the main event. Oosthuizen, 24, is a 6'4" super middleweight and a southpaw to boot, looking to establish himself to the U.S. audience for the first time, while the rather erratic Johnson, 26, is looking to get his career back on track after a loss to Dyah Davis last year on ShoBox.

In the co-feature, Puerto Rican super bantamweight prospect Luis Orlando Del Valle (15-0, 11 KO) takes on Christopher Martin (23-1-3, 6 KO) in what could be a trap fight for the DiBella-promoted Del Valle. Martin has been in this position before on ShoBox, and picked apart Chris Avalos in 2010. He's 0-1-1 in his last two, but the tricky San Diego fighter can certainly be a handful for overeager young fighters.

The TV opener will see heavily hyped 22-year-old Puerto Rican Jose Pedraza (7-0, 6 KO) take on Gil Garcia (5-2-1, 1 KO) in what figures to be a showcase bout at super featherweight.

We'll be joining this show in progress following ESPN Friday Night Fights, which starts an hour later than usual tonight and will bleed over into the ShoBox broadcast's time slot this week. Overall we've got a lot of good prospects in action this evening, and we hope you'll join us for some boxing on a Friday night.
