Yesterday afternoon, the four main fighters for Saturday night's HBO pay-per-view card arrived at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the first official Mayweather vs Cotto fight week event.
Miguel Cotto and Floyd Mayweather were the last of the four to arrive, of course, as they're headlining Saturday's big show and fighting for the WBA junior middleweight world title, currently held by Cotto (37-2, 30 KO). Mayweather (42-0, 26 KO) has fought just once at the weight, but it was the biggest win of his career, coming over Oscar De La Hoya in 2007 in boxing's all-time richest fight, and the highest-watched PPV in history.

One thing worth noting is that Yuriorkis Gamboa was in Mayweather's arrival entourage yesterday, and you can spot him just behind Floyd in one of the photos below, in a cutoff shirt looking like he just stepped off the set of a Madonna video circa 1991. Mayweather says that Bob Arum is attempting to sue Leonard Ellerbe over the Gamboa situation.
By the way, I resisted the urge to make fun of the lead photo by saying that "Floyd Mayweather is ready to 'rock n' roll' on Saturday night!" You're welcome. But seriously, why did he do that with his hands?
