Tomorrow night's Mayweather vs Cotto event at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas will have plenty of action with some notable prospects in the ring before the four-fight HBO pay-per-view kicks off at 9 p.m. EDT.
Texan lightweight Omar Figueroa (15-0-1, 12 KO) will be one of the highlighted undercard combatants, as the hard-charging brawler has made a bit of a name for himself on ShoBox with his past couple of fights, impressing everyone who watches the show and likes to see an action-packed fight. He'll be facing Robbie Cannon (12-6-2, 6 KO) in a fight scheduled for eight rounds.
Welterweight prospect Keith "One Time" Thurman (16-0, 15 KO) continues his comeback, as the 23-year-old Florida native will face Brandon Hoskins (16-0-1, 8 KO) in an eight-round bout. Hoskins is a 25-year-old from Hannibal, Missouri, who has built his record on the rather friendly Missouri local circuit.
24-year-old Mexican junior welterweight Antonio Orozco (13-0, 9 KO), now based in San Diego, will also put his unbeaten record on the line in an eight-rounder against Dillet Frederick (8-5-3, 5 KO) of Fort Myers, Fla.
And in a six-round featherweight bout, Puerto Rico's Braulio Santos (5-0, 5 KO) will face Juan Sandoval (5-8-1, 3 KO) of San Bernadino, Calif.
