The WBO said they were going to bring in five international judges to review the Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley fight, and they have done that. RingTV.com reports that the WBO's judges all saw the fight to Pacquiao.
If you're wondering what that means, well, not much:
[WBO President Paco] Valcarcel, who said he thought Pacquiao won eight rounds to four, said that the organization's rules do not allow for the bout being overturned, but that "the only thing that we can do is authorize a rematch."
Even if they authorize a rematch -- and of course they would, since they love Manny -- that doesn't mean it will happen.
As Bob Arum notes, that's up to Manny:
"I have to then determine after dicussions with him what he wants to do next and we'll go from there. Until Manny makes a determination, then I'm like a dog chasing its tail."
The latest word is still that it appears more likely that Pacquiao's November 10 will be a fourth fight with Juan Manuel Marquez, rather than a Bradley rematch. But it's up to Manny. Basically, what he wants to do will get done.
