Omar Figueroa stayed unbeaten with an incredibly easy win tonight in Los Angeles, overwhelming journeyman opponent Alain Hernandez in the first round on the Ortiz vs Lopez undercard, ending the fight at just 1:34.
Figueroa (18-0-1, 15 KO) was just totally overwhelmed by Figueroa, who stormed out of the gates and let his hands go endlessly and relentlessly, banging to the body and head in such a way that referee Jose Cobian chose to just step in before bad got any worse. You could argue it as a quick stoppage, but there was clearly no point to letting this fight continue. Hernandez, who has now lost four straight, had no hope in there. Hernandez falls to 18-11-2 (10 KO).
