This Saturday night on HBO PPV from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Manny Pacquiao faces Timothy Bradley for the WBO welterweight title, in a fight many feel will be Pacquiao's greatest challenge in a good while. Others feel that Manny will be able to walk through Bradley. As I've said numerous times, I'm greatly intrigued by this fight.
Here's the PPV preview show that will air and repeat itself for a while prior to the event.
These things are always a hoot, as they're very "used car salesman" in their techniques. People will show up and lie or stretch the truth all day long for a PPV preview show. Promoters, fighters, trainers, journalists -- anyone, really. Just read your script, guys.
These things have been the same since they started doing them, though, so I'm never surprised. Just amused. I share it because I'm sure someone would like to see it, and hey!, at the end of the day, maybe it does convince someone to buy the show. I have no idea.
We'll continue to have constant coverage of Pacquiao vs Bradley today, tomorrow, and all the way through the weekend. On Saturday night, of course, we'll have live round-by-round coverage, followed with immediate post-fight analysis for all four of the pay-per-view bouts. All week we'll have live coverage, too, with (I'm guessing as usual) the fighter arrivals in Vegas, the final press conference, and Friday's weigh-in event. Stick with us and be drowned in Pacquiao-Bradley coverage!
