Friday, June 8
ESPN2 / ESPN3.com, 10:00 p.m. EDT, Kelly Pavlik vs Scott Sigmon, Jesse Magdaleno vs Carlos Valcarcel, Mike Lee vs Isiah Barela. Former middleweight champion Pavlik (38-2, 33 KO) continues his slow-burn comeback with another tune-up fight that shouldn't be any harder than his win over Aaron Jaco in March, a TKO-2. Sigmon (22-3, 12 KO) is a 25-year-old club fighter who has built up his record in the rings of North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland, for the most part. It's a big jump from Tiwon Taylor and Carlton Holland to Kelly Pavlik. Magdaleno (9-0, 6 KO) is the younger brother of Diego, and some feel the better overall prospect of the two, with the higher ceiling. Valcarcel (12-4-4, 5 KO) who has lost two straight, and at one point had an amazing run of four draws over fight fights, including three straight draws (one was a technical draw). Lee (8-0, 5 KO) is in Subway commercials. Bad Left Hook will have live round-by-round coverage.
Saturday, June 9

Montiel (47-4-2, 34 KO) plugs along with his second fight of 2012 following his upset loss to Victor Terrazas last November. He may never be an elite fighter again, but he's still quality. Reyes (11-1, 4 KO) has faced very, very light competition thus ar in his pro carer. Ibarra (27-6, 18 KO) is a solid fighter coming off of losses to Juan Jose Montes and Sylvester Lopez. Rodriguez (18-10-4, 8 KO) is here to feed him a W. Gutierrez (31-7-2, 21 KO) and Torres (18-9, 13 KO) will be fighting for the vacant WBC Silver belt at 108 pounds.
Telefutura, 11:00 p.m. EDT, McWilliams Arroyo vs Felipe Rivas, McJoe Arroyo vs Felipe Castaneda. The McBrothers take on a couple of guys named Felipe. Works for me.
