Pacquiao vs Bradley: Timothy Bradley Says He's Got No Respect For Manny Right Now

Timothy Bradley and Manny Pacquiao have been pretty friendly ahead of their HBO pay-per-view main event tonight, including the most cordial 'Face Off' interview to date, but the 28-year-old WBO welterweight title challenger Bradley says all the niceties are out the window for now, and he's operating with no respect for Pacquiao, a man he's admitted he likes:

"I don’t fear anybody," [Bradley] said. "I don’t fear Manny Pacquiao. I don’t have any respect for him right now. This is the biggest challenge of my life. But this is my moment to stardom, and I have to win this fight."

Bradley (28-0, 12 KO) has mostly exuded a supreme confidence heading into the bout, but over the last few days has come off more like a disrespected fighter with a chip on his shoulder, hungry not just to prove he belongs, but that he should have been here a while ago.

Bradley also reiterates that he feels Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38 KO) hasn't faced an opponent like him in a long, long time, a fresh, young, hungry, unbeaten fighter. In many ways, Bradley has nothing to lose and everything to gain.

But if you think Bradley feels he has "nothing to lose," I don't think you've been listening to him closely enough. And folks, I don't even know who I'm talking to when I say that. I'll leave it anyway, because why not?

Pacquiao says he's not overlooking Bradley, despite many feeling that's the case:

"Bradley is a different type of fighter, and we don't take this fight lightly," Pacquiao said. "We have trained hard for Bradley because he is the type of fighter we cannot underestimate."
