Here's the full final press conference for Saturday's big fight in London between David Haye and Dereck Chisora:
Haye (25-2, 23 KO) and Chisora (15-3, 9 KO) will meet at Upton Park. A few notes from the presser:
- Luis Pabon will be the referee. You may remember Pabon from such fights as Klitschko vs Mormeck, Povetkin vs Huck, Ward vs Abraham, and Khan vs McCloskey. He's experienced and gets a lot of international assignments as a neutral party.
- Michael Buffer will be in the house.
- They did the fence gimmick again.
- Mostly, it was pretty laid-back and respectful overall.
We'll have more on Haye vs Chisora in the coming days, including a fight preview either later today or tomorrow, and it will all lead up to live, round-by-round coverage on Saturday afternoon. I'm still looking forward to it, and hoping that we get the fight that it could be, rather than a heavyweight disappointment, which is of course entirely possible.
