Tonigh at 11 p.m. EDT on HBO, Amir Khan and Danny Garcia meet in a 140-pound title unification bout from Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The show will go live two hours earlier than that on Sky Sports in the UK as well, with a bit of undercard action.
Bad Left Hook will be here with live round-by-round coverage of Khan vs Garcia, and probably at least part of the televised undercard bouts.
Khan (26-2, 18 KO) and Garcia (23-0, 14 KO) have had a fairly heated build-up to their bout, with both sides speaking confidently, and Garcia's father and trainer Angel Garcia trying to make things persona and get into the favored Brit's head.
It's definitely the biggest test of Garcia's career, as he comes off of solid wins over Kendall Holt and Erik Morales in his last two outings. Khan was originally scheduled to rematch Lamont Peterson on May 19, but Peterson failed a VADA drug test ahead of that date, and this became the new fight and date for Khan, who has not been in the ring since his controversial December loss to Peterson.
Featured on the undercard will be Fernando Guerrero, J'Leon Love, Jamie Kavanagh, and Phil Lo Greco. [ Undercard Preview ]
