Due to a reported scheduling conflict with HBO, it appears as though Manny Pacquiao's next fight will be on November 10 after all, rather than the December 1 date that was reported earlier this week.
Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38 KO) still hasn't chosen an opponent, but here's what we know for sure: He's fighting at the MGM Grand in Vegas on either 11/10 or 12/1, and apparently it will be 11/10. Mostly likely, that has something to do with Miguel Cotto having an HBO date booked for 12/1, which has been Cotto's plan for a while now, as he's had Madison Square Garden in New York booked for that date.
Manny's possible opponents are still Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez. I think we can pretty safely stop acting like Miguel Cotto is a possible opponent for him, though. Beyond this, there's the weight issue that prevented them from fighting earlier this year.
Hopefully Pacquiao will name an opponent soon and we can all get on with it.
