Tonight at 9:45 p.m. EDT, HBO Boxing After Dark presents a double-header featuring middleweights in action, with Gennady Golovkin facing Grzegorz Proksa in the main event for Golovkin's WBA "regular" title. We'll be here with live updates and round-by-round coverage of the fights.

Golovkin (23-0, 20 KO) has escaped the hell that is being promoted by Universum, and now with the Klitschko camp, he's making his debut on U.S. soil and on HBO. He's an exciting fighter to watch who can really bang on offense, and is flawed enough on defense that things can always get interesting in a hurry.

Proksa (28-1, 21 KO) gave up his European middleweight title to take this fight, having just beat Kerry Hope in a rematch on July 7. On paper, this is a potentially explosive fight. These guys might not be the big names, but this could be must-see TV.
In the co-feature, it was supposed to be a junior middleweight fight, but Jonathan Gonzalez (15-0, 13 KO) was nine pounds overweight. Today, he did make an agreed-upon 166 pounds, so his fight with Sergiy Dzinziruk (37-1, 24 KO) is still going ahead.
