Ricky Hatton says that 10,000 tickets are already gone for his November 24 return to the ring at the MEN Arena in Manchester. Tickets were made available with the official announcement today.

Hatton (45-2, 32 KO) hasn't named an opponent yet, but that will be coming soon. As he said at his press conference, this comeback is about many things, but mostly for the 33-year-old "Hitman," it's about personal redemption.

Hatton is very clearly not pleased with the way he left the sport against Manny Pacquiao in 2009, and perhaps even more, isn't pleased with what's become of his public life since then.

It's only recently that Hatton, as a promoter and trainer, has started to turn that corner with the public, and he wants to show again what he's made of before it's really too late.

As I've said repeatedly, I'm fully in support of the comeback. That's not me saying that I know for sure it will go well or anything like that, because you never know. But I'm definitely not writing it off. There's too much potential fun to be had with Ricky Hatton back in boxing.
