Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez will officially announce their fourth fight for December 8 on Monday, September 17, beginning a quick, three-city press tour at The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.
Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38 KO) and Marquez (54-6-1, 39 KO) went to a draw in 2004, and Pacquiao won close, debatable decisions in 2008 and 2011 against his great rival. There's been barely anything separating the two over 36 rounds of high-level boxing, and they'll do it one more time in a non-title (for now) welterweight battle at the MGM Grand late this year.
After their first stop in LA, the two will be in New York at the Edison Ballroom in Times Square on September 19, and then they'll wrap it up with a stop in Mexico City on September 21. That event has details still pending, but will be open to the public.
Pacquiao chose Marquez over Timothy Bradley for this fight. Bradley is now slated to return on December 15 in New York.
