Boxing's Barclays Center debut shapes up as year's most stacked card

Brooklyn's brand-new Barclays Center will host boxing for the first time on October 20, and Showtime and Golden Boy Promotions have put together a loaded card featuring four world title fights.

Full lineup for Showtime's October 20 show at the Barclays Center, which will be hosting boxing for the first time:

WBC/WBA Junior Welterweight Title
Danny Garcia (24-0, 15 KO) vs Erik Morales (52-8, 36 KO)

WBA Welterweight Title
Paulie Malignaggi (31-4, 7 KO) vs Pablo Cesar Cano (25-1-1, 19 KO)

WBO Middleweight Title
Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam (27-0, 17 KO) vs Peter Quillin (27-0, 20 KO)

IBF Welterweight Title
Randall Bailey (43-7, 37 KO) vs Devon Alexander (23-1, 13 KO)

There will also be Showtime Extreme undercard fights as always, and the off-TV undercard has plenty of familiar names, too. Luis Collazo is scheduled to face Steve Upsher Chambers in a welterweight bout, Danny Jacobs will be returning to the ring, hot prospect Eddie Gomez will be in action, and also, Dmitriy Salita will be there, and I worry he'll be put on TV because of Golden Boy's apparent desire to do Malignaggi-Salita in Brooklyn as a local draw sort of fight. Not because that's some horrible idea business-wise, it's just Salita isn't a contender.
