Povetkin vs Rahman: Fight time, how to watch online, live stream, TV schedule, and more

Alexander Povetkin vs Hasim Rahman is live from Germany this afternoon. Here's how you can watch the fight in the US, UK, or Germany.

Wilhelm Springer/Team Sauerland

This afternoon in Germany, Alexander Povetkin will face Hasim Rahman for the WBA "regular" heavyweight title. There is a live stream available in the States, as EpixHD.com will carry the bout, along with the Epix TV channel. BoxNation has the fight in the UK, and ARD will carry it in Germany. BoxNation subscribers can also watch live on Livesport.TV.

Fight time: 2:30 p.m. EDT (BoxNation) / 4:30 p.m. EDT (Epix and EpixHD.com)

Location: Sporthalle - Hamburg, Germany

TV channel: BoxNation and Livesport.TV (UK) / Epix and EpixHD.com (US) / ARD (Germany)

Povetkin (24-0, 16 KO) is the heavy favorite against the faded Rahma (50-7-2, 41 KO), and we aren't expecting much serious competition in the fight. Fight preview: Povetkin vs Rahman

On the undercard, Kubrat Pulev (16-0, 8 KO) will defend the European heavyweight title against Alexander Ustinov (27-0, 21 KO). The fight will also serve as an IBF eliminator for the No. 1 spot in that sanctioning body's rankings. The winner would, as designed now, face the winner of the Adamek-Solis fight on December 22, should that go through. That will also be an IBF eliminator, for the No. 2 spot. The winners would meet, and then face the champion, which is currently Wladimir Klitschko.

Not on the U.S. broadcast but part of the BoxNation show will be a junior middleweight fight between Jack Culcay (12-0, 8 KO) and Mark Thompson (24-1, 14 KO).

Bad Left Hook will have live round-by-round coverage and immediate post-fight results from today's card, starting at 2:30 p.m. EDT. Join us!
