Andre Ward and Chad Dawson both weighed in at 168 pounds this evening in Oakland for tomorrow night's HBO super middleweight main event from Oracle Arena, and neither man looked like he had to overdo it to make the weight.

That was a concern, of course, for Dawson (31-1, 17 KO), who hasn't made the super middleweight limit since 2006. But at 168, he looked trim and fit, as best one could tell from the streaming video. Ward (25-0, 13 KO) received a nice ovation in Oakland -- which is far more than the Mayor can say -- and with Nick Cannon reading cliche gibberish and encouraging people to "make some noise," overall I'd say fun was had.

For the WBC lightweight title co-feature, Antonio DeMarco weighed in at 134¼, with challenger John Molina at 134½. I was worried about the look of DeMarco at the press conference, but I don't think that's a concern now, or again, as best could be told from the stream video.

I'll still stick with my Molina pick, though.

Remember, this is tomorrow's live coverage schedule:

2:30 EDT (BoxNation): Vitali Klitschko vs Manuel Charr. Main event will probably start around 5 pm, but BN will have some undercard action.

7:00 EDT (Showtime Extreme): Ishe Smith vs Irving Garcia, Daquan Arnett vs Jesus Tavera. Prelims for the Showtime bouts.

9:00 EDT (Showtime): Lucas Matthysse vs Olusegun Ajose, J'Leon Love vs Ramon Valenzuela.

9:45 EDT (HBO): Andre Ward vs Chad Dawson, Antonio DeMarco vs John Molina. HBO will be airing the Klitschko-Charr fight first on tape delay, so by the time that's done, the Showtime card should be completed, and we'll be able to cover it all.
