Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler will rematch on April 27 at the O2 Arena in London, with Froch's WBC and Kessler's WBA titles on the line.

The two first met in 2010, with Kessler winning a decision in Denmark, in the highlight bout of the Super Six World Boxing Classic. With home field advantage and a nice wave of momentum since that bout, Froch (30-2, 22 KO) figures to be the favorite this time around, though it's once again a great matchup, and probably the best and biggest fight to be made in the 168 pound division with Andre Ward currently on the shelf.

Kessler (46-2, 35 KO) won a pair of fights by knockout in 2012, smashing Allan Green in four rounds, and then dominating Brian Magee in three. Froch also went 2-0 on the year, destroying Lucian Bute in May, and then easily beating Yusaf Mack in November.

HBO had reportedly expressed interest in airing the rematch, but it's not known if that will still be the case. Airing live would make it an afternoon show in the States, but it could easily be aired live, and then paired on tape delay later in the evening with the Sergio Martinez vs Martin Murray fight from Argentina.
