Felix Sturm and Sam Soliman are good to go for tomorrow's IBF middleweight eliminator tomorrow in Düsseldorf, in a fight televised by SAT1 in Germany, and also by BoxNation in the United Kingdom.
Both Sturm (37-3-2, 16 KO) and Soliman (42-11, 17 KO) weighed in at 159.84 pounds, to be precise. The 34-year-old Sturm is coming off of a loss to Daniel Geale, while Soliman, 39, has won seven straight fights dating back to 2008, including a win last August over Giovanni Lorenzo.
The winner is fighting for the right to face Geale, which is a money fight of sorts either way for the reigning titlist. A Geale-Sturm rematch would have an audience in Germany or Australia, while Geale-Soliman is a solid domestic fight in Australia.
