Veteran and former lightweight titlist Nate Campbell has gotten the call to replace the injured John O'Donnell in the February 8 ESPN Friday Night Fights main event, where the 40-year-old "Galaxxy Warrior" will face Canada's Kevin Bizier in the 10-round welterweight main event.

Campbell (36-9-1, 26 KO) is still a battler, though definitely past his prime. Through a series of setbacks out of the ring, Campbell never got to truly capitalize on his 2008 upset of Juan Diaz, and has settled into a role as a high-level gatekeeper. He's won two straight, beating Victor Cayo and Krzysztof Szot in 2012, the last fight coming in June.

Bizier (19-0, 13 KO) is a solid 27-year-old prospect out of Saint-Emile, Quebec, with a win over the capable Lanardo Tyner on his record already. He was last seen on December 14, beating tough sub-.500 opponent Doel Carrasquillo in a one-sided rout.

The card will have a very interesting prospect co-feature, as Tyler Asselstine (12-0, 7 KO) faces 20-year-old Joel Diaz (11-0, 10 KO) in a 10-round super featherweight bout. Asselstine, 26, has made a few waves in Canada in his brief pro career, and should have the home advantage in Montreal, though he fights out of Toronto. Diaz, a California prospect, is likely best-remembered for his ShoBox war in January 2012 against Guy Robb.

Former junior middleweight titlist Joachim Alcine (33-3-1, 19 KO) will also be featured on the card at the Bell Centre, coming off of a blitzing loss to Matthew Macklin.
