Seanie Monaghan was booked to open tonight's Bradley-Marquez pay-per-view with an exciting if not substantial win over Anthony Caputo Smith, and, well, it definitely wasn't substantial, as the two northeast club battlers fought in an empty Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, with Monaghan easily winning in three rounds.

Monaghan (19-0, 12 KO) took his time to get going, relatively speaking, as Smith (14-2, 10 KO) probably won the first round on activity. But after that, it was pretty much all Monaghan, who beat up on Smith in the second round, nearly doubling him in shots landed, and in the third, it became simple a question of when Tony Weeks would step in to keep Smith from taking unnecessary punishment. Eventually, Weeks had seen enough, as Monaghan was just pouring on pressure, and Smith was too tired to do anything about it.

Monaghan landed 71 of 143 power punches (50%), compared to just 36% (41/115) for Smith.
