Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38 KO) is preparing for his Saturday night HBO pay-per-view main event with Brandon Rios (31-1-1, 23 KO), putting the finishing touches on his camp as we speak (or type, whatever). The 34-year-old Pacquiao is coming off of two straight losses -- one controversial, one definitive (this is my new catchphrase for this fight!) -- while Rios lost his last bout as well to Mike Alvarado.
But while both men come in with defeats in their last fights, this is still a dangerous fight for Pacquiao and a huge opportunity for Rios. Pacquiao has held his entire training camp in the Philippines this time due to the fight itself being held in Macao, meaning that going over to Hollywood to work out with Freddie Roach at the Wild Card gym would have been, you know, kinda silly.
Here are some videos of Pacquiao hitting the mitts, shadow boxing, and showing his speed. Thanks to Marcos Villegas and Fight Hub TV for this footage.
